Canyon Lake Cruise on the Dolly

One of  the  days that we  let  the  mules have the  day off , We took a little  trip to Canyon Lake. It's  located North  of Goldfield about 25 mile  along highway 88.
It was a very calm sunny  day and we all had a  great time!
Cayon Lake  is  large. It connects  with Apache' Lake, Rosevelt  Lake, Suguaro Lake and the  Salt river. Each lake  has a  dam system on them.
These two are  always fun to be around. Ron Stolp and  Kelly Brook Allen.
You can see where the  waterfalls are  in this photo, if you look really  close; you'll see  the  ends of  petrified logs sticking  out  from the  rock face.
The afternoon shadows on the  rocks. The  cool thing  about the  Arizona  landscape is that it  seems to change as  the sun moves  through the  sky and shadows are  cast.
Ron enjoying the scenery. While on the  cruise  we saw  Eagles, Sheep and Deer.
It's a fun trip and Educational if  you're  looking for something to do on a  warm afternoon. The  only  disappointment was  that the  Restaurant  at the  Marina closes at 5PM and  one of the  Reasons why we  went  there. They are suppose  to have  some  great  Fish and Chips!
All Said  it was a great afternoon!
The total cruise lasts about 1 1/2 hours and  covers 7 miles of Canyon Lake.
